Job DescriptionOverview

The Performance Manager is responsible for leading performance monitoring, analyzing operational metrics, and driving continuous improvements to meet the Employer's objectives within metro Operations & Maintenance (O&M). This role ensures that all O&M Contractors achieve their contractual performance targets by closely tracking KPIs, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective strategies. The position requires strong analytical expertise, experience in driverless metro operations planning, and the ability to manage performance frameworks, data systems, and stakeholder expectations. The Performance Manager also plays a vital role in evaluating performance trends, ensuring data integrity, and supporting decision-making through structured reporting and analysis.

Your role

Performance & KPI Oversight

  • Lead monitoring and analysis of operational performance across metro services
  • Ensure each O&M Contractor meets contractual performance requirements
  • Track and analyse deviations from targeted performance metrics
  • Measure, evaluate, and audit contractor performance against defined KPIs
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement

Corrective Action Management

  • Ensure O&M Contractors propose and implement effective corrective measures
  • Evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions and adjust strategies as required
  • Review and oversee RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) analysis
  • Ensure continuous improvement in contractor performance and service delivery

Data & Digital Systems

  • Review and analyze operational data for accuracy and insights
  • Ensure integrity, reliability, and accuracy of performance data
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for senior management
  • Ensure cyber integrity and security of digital performance systems

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with internal teams and O&M Contractors to align performance goals
  • Support performance reviews, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Employer and senior leadership
  • Facilitate communication between technical, operational, and management teams
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in performance management, preferably in rail/metro sector
  • Proven experience in operations planning, especially for driverless metro systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in KPI management, performance frameworks, and reporting systems
  • Good understanding of RAMS and operational performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to interpret complex data and recommend actionable insights
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, dashboards, and reporting systems
