Client is looking for a ServiceNow Architect who will use their knowledge and experience of the ServiceNow produce to architect a solution that meets the ITSM, ITAM and change management needs of IT projects across DC.

• The Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is the central technology organization of the District of Columbia Government. OCTO develops, implements, and maintains the District's technology infrastructure; develops and implements major enterprise applications; establishes and oversees technology policies and standards for the District; provides technology services and support for District agencies, and develops technology solutions to improve services to businesses, residents and visitors in all areas of District government.
• As a ServiceNow Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions within our organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, best practices, and a strong ability to architect solutions that meet the organization's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and requirements. Develop technical architecture, data model, integrations, and workflows to support business processes.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies. Mentor team members on ServiceNow platform capabilities and implementation strategies.
• 3. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Translate requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
• 4. Platform Development: Develop the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, and CSS to meet specific business needs. Configure workflows, forms, UI policies, and catalog items.
• 5. Integration: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP, MID Servers, and other integration techniques. Ensure data integrity and security in integrations.
• 6. Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize ServiceNow performance and scalability. Implement performance tuning measures and monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation.
• 7. Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards in ServiceNow implementations. Implement security controls, access restrictions, and audit mechanisms as necessary.
• 8. Documentation and Training: Create technical documentation including design documents, architecture diagrams, and configuration guides. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)certifications preferred.
• Proven experience architecting and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and components.
• Strong knowledge of the following ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITFM, HRSD, PPM and SPM
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
• Provides high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff.
Develops architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
• Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.
• Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
• Sets standards for the client/server relational database structure for the organization (Structured Query Language (SQL), Oracle, Sybase).
• Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management.
• Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
Skills:
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.

• Experience architecting and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments. Required 8 Years
• Experience with ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and components. Required 8 Years
• Experience with ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITFM, HRSD, PPM and SPM. Required 6 Years
• 16+ yrs. as an Enterprise Architect. Required 16 Years
• 16+ yrs. building an IT system roadmap. Required 16 Years
• 16+ yrs. system diagramming/modeling using structured modeling language like UML. Required 16 Years
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience. Required
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred. Highly desired
Compensation: $74.00 per hour
