We are looking for a per diem Physical Therapist who has weekday availability.
Maine Veterans' Homes is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Maine's veterans and families. MVH - Bangor has recognized the importance of keeping up with changes in healthcare to better the lives of our residents and support our skilled staff.
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats residents, communicates with residents, families, physicians and other health team members, maintains documentation of services in the medical record and conducts in-services and training for facility staff in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MVH policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Must possess current State of Maine license as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience in a long-term care environment is a plus.
  • Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to understand and respond to residents' needs and inquiries in English is required.
  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
