BrightStar Care of Midtown Raleigh is currently hiring experienced and compassionate PCAs for immediate openings in the Raleigh area!

We are looking for dependable caregivers who are passionate about providing exceptional care and making a difference in the lives of our clients. At BrightStar Care, we pride ourselves on hiring the very best caregivers in the Triangle area. Our team is committed to delivering personalized care that helps clients remain safe and comfortable in their homes. Candidates must meet all job requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Provide companion care and personal care assistance to clients in their homes
  • Follow and complete all tasks outlined in the client's plan of care
  • Document care provided, time, and attendance accurately
  • Communicate client changes or concerns promptly to the Director of Nursing
  • Maintain a safe environment while following agency policies and procedures
  • Respond appropriately and professionally in emergency situations
  • Use caregiving equipment safely and properly, including Hoyer lifts
  • Maintain reliable attendance and arrive to shifts on time
  • Submit shift availability at least two weeks in advance
  • Assist with client transportation as needed
Qualifications
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Hoyer Lift experience preferred
  • Active North Carolina CNA License or proof of work experience for PCA applicants
  • Current TB test
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Completion of all state-mandated training requirements
  • Valid North Carolina Driver's License, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to transport clients
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
