Per Diem Medical Optometrist (OD)

Location: Visalia, CA 93291

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Optometrist to join our eye care team in Visalia, CA. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including medical eye examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular diseases, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and ocular health.
  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and infections.
  • Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare providers for patient referrals and co-management.
  • Educate patients on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
