This non-bargaining unit per diem substitute teaching position is available August 25, 2026 through the last student day of the 2026-2027 school year only. Workdays will be limited to required student days only.
The candidate must possess a valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Certificate and/or will be required to apply for a Type 06 Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit. We are seeking a candidate with outstanding credentials, strong academic background, highly developed classroom management skills, ability to work in different locations and understanding of and empathy for students at the appropriate grade levels.
The full day (7.5 hour) per diem rate will be $150.00.
District paid healthcare (medical, dental, vision) will be provided during the term of this temporary appointment; the per diem substitute will be required to pay a healthcare contribution. Upon separation, district paid healthcare will terminate. Paid sick and personal time is not provided.
