Position Overview

Elire is seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant - PeopleSoft Delivery & Strategic Initiatives to support and help lead key PeopleSoft initiatives across our delivery organization. This is a senior-level consulting and leadership role designed for an individual who can operate as a strategic delivery leader, trusted advisor, and hands-on problem solver across multiple projects and internal initiatives.

This role will work closely with Practice Leads, Delivery Leadership, project teams, and clients to help drive delivery excellence, operational consistency, team mentorship, and strategic initiative execution across the PeopleSoft practice.

The ideal candidate brings deep PeopleSoft consulting experience combined with strong leadership, project oversight, client engagement, and operational coordination capabilities. This individual will play a critical role in helping support the day-to-day execution and leadership needs of the practice while positioning themselves for future growth into a Practice Leadership or Assistant Practice Lead type role over time.

Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Leadership & Project Oversight
  • Support leadership and oversight across PeopleSoft implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support initiatives
  • Partner with Practice Leads and Delivery Leadership to help drive delivery execution, resource coordination, issue resolution, and project success
  • Assist with managing smaller initiatives, workstreams, and operational activities across active client engagements
  • Provide leadership support across project planning, execution, governance, risk management, and client communications
  • Help ensure delivery consistency, quality standards, and best practices across projects and teams
  • Act as a senior escalation point for delivery challenges, solution guidance, and client concerns
Strategic Initiatives & Practice Support
  • Help lead internal strategic initiatives focused on operational improvement, delivery processes, methodology refinement, staffing coordination, and practice growth
  • Support practice leadership with day-to-day operational responsibilities and initiative execution
  • Assist in identifying process improvements, delivery efficiencies, and organizational scaling opportunities
  • Collaborate with leadership on practice planning, delivery alignment, and resource forecasting efforts
  • Contribute to the continued growth and maturity of the PeopleSoft practice
Client Leadership & Consulting
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and senior point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
  • Lead client discussions, workshops, status meetings, and solution planning sessions
  • Provide strategic guidance and functional leadership across PeopleSoft-related initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with client leadership teams through professionalism, accountability, and delivery excellence
  • Support business development efforts, proposal discussions, staffing conversations, and solution positioning when needed
Team Leadership & Mentorship
  • Mentor consultants and project team members across delivery, consulting best practices, and client engagement
  • Help guide teams through project execution, issue resolution, prioritization, and stakeholder management
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams
  • Support knowledge sharing and development initiatives within the practice
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of PeopleSoft consulting and delivery experience
  • Strong experience leading or supporting enterprise system implementation and support initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and operate in a senior consulting leadership capacity
  • Experience coordinating across multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of delivery governance, project execution, and operational oversight
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership responsibilities with hands-on delivery involvement
  • Experience mentoring consultants and supporting team development
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex client and delivery environments
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across leadership and delivery teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience serving in a Principal Consultant, Delivery Lead, Engagement Lead, Solution Lead, or Practice Leadership support role
  • Experience supporting PeopleSoft managed services or long-term client support programs
  • Exposure to operational planning, resource coordination, staffing, or delivery management functions
  • Experience working within consulting firms or systems implementation organizations
  • Broader ERP or Oracle ecosystem exposure is a plus
