Job Description
The Financial Information Services Agency (FISA) is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer to support ongoing production maintenance and the implementation of new and enhanced functionality for the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) application, with a primary focus on the Human Resources and Benefits Administration modules.
Responsibilities include:
Under the direction of the Development Lead, the PeopleSoft Developer will support existing HR and Benefits application functionality while designing, developing, testing, and implementing custom solutions that meet the City's functional and technical requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, Technical Lead, Business Analysts, QA/Test team, and business stakeholders to design, develop, unit test, implement, and support production initiatives. The role requires the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams while also working independently, managing priorities, and meeting project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications: .
- Knowledge of and experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources, Benefits Administration, ePerformance, Employee Self Service (ESS), Manager Self Service (MSS), and Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM).
- Familiarity with Medicare Part B and Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA) processing as it relates to the City's custom Retiree Benefits application
- Experience with PeopleTools 8.60 or later, including Fluid pages/components and related portal technologies.
- Proficiency in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Application Packages, SOR, and SOL
- Working knowledge of Application Designer, Data Mover, Query Manager, Integration Broker, BlPublisher, Process Scheduler, and Process Monitor.
- Ability to develop and support PeopleSoft inbound and outbound integrations, including Integration Broker and file-based interfaces.
- Familiarity with the STAT change management tool and Microsoft SOL Server.
- Experience supporting PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) Images.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Database and basic PeopleSoft administration.
- Ability to provide production support and participate in application enhancements and implementations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience working on an enterprise-wide projects a must.
- Good communications skills (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.

2. An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or
3. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or
4. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above.
