Senior PeopleSoft Developer (HCM) – XML/PeopleCode Expert
  • Full time contract (1099/C2C)
  • Contract length: through FY26 (June 30) + extension
  • 100% remote (must be available PST hours) 

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PeopleSoft Developer with extensive experience in PeopleSoft HCM and deep expertise in creating and manipulating complex XML structures using PeopleCode frameworks such as XMLDoc, XMLGen, and related APIs. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience, advanced PeopleTools knowledge, and a thorough understanding of HCM data structures, including HR, Payroll, and Commitment Accounting tables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance complex XML structure files using PeopleCode (XMLDoc, XMLNode, XMLRowset, XMLGen).
  • Build and maintain PeopleSoft application objects in Application Designer (records, pages, components, menus, and PeopleCode).
  • Develop and optimize Application Engine programs, including SQL, PeopleCode, and data transformation routines.
  • Implement and troubleshoot integrations via Integration Broker, including service operations and messaging.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to interpret business requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
  • Leverage expert-level understanding of PeopleSoft HCM data, including HR, Payroll, and Commitment Accounting structures, to ensure accurate processing and reporting.
  • Debug, refactor, and tune PeopleSoft code for optimal performance.
  • Prepare technical design documents, unit test cases, and support materials.

  • 10+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft HCM development experience.
