Job Summary:

The Field Support Representative will assist with various employee relations and human resources matters, gathering, collecting, maintaining documents and records, and conducting investigations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Conducts store visits for assigned locations and accompanies the team on their store visits in order to provide mentorship and guidance.
  • Provides guidance for employees and management on interpreting company policies.
  • Serves as initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints.
  • Conducts interviews and gathers information for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns for non-management employees.
  • Advises and coaches management on employee corrective actions, growth plans, personal improvement plans, and terminations.
  • Reviews dismissal requests for hourly employees in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Prepares and submits store visit reports.
  • Responds to unemployment claims and hearings.
  • Provides guidance on reasonable suspicion situations for hourly employees.
  • Represents the company at job fairs, business events, and industry events as needed.
  • Acts as a role model for our Business as Unusual (BaU) culture.
  • Maintains current knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO.
  • Completes expense reports in accordance with company purchase card and travel guidelines.
  • Presents educational material at regional meetings in addition to on-site training events.
  • Attends team meetings and company training sessions as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with, or able to quickly learn, HRIS system.
  • Must have a current driver's license and auto liability insurance.
  • Travel with overnight stays.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior human resources experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be available after hours, including weekends to support stores via phone, email, and text.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds at times.
