The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and brand standards. This role supports staff training, inspections, supply control, and efficient departmental operations while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.JOB DESCRIPTION

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Hospitality coursework or certification preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel environment.
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Experience with housekeeping software or PMS systems (HotSOS, OnQ, Opera, etc.) a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and chemical handling.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50-75 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support housekeeping staff during daily operations.
  • Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness and compliance with brand standards.
  • Assist with training new employees on cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure carts, closets, and supply rooms are clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Address guest requests and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
  • Report maintenance concerns and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Monitor productivity and assist with scheduling and labor management.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, assignments, and supply usage.
  • Uphold all safety, sanitation, and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
