Alternating Day/Night Shifts: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00 or 19:30 - 07:30)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatrics and be adept in managing patients with tracheostomies and ventilators. This role involves caring for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients with various diagnoses.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for pediatric patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as per protocol.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes in charts.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care planning.
  • Maintain and care for specialized equipment including trach/vents and PICCs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required.
  • Active RN license in the state of Maryland or compact license.
  • BLS and CPI certifications required; ACLS preferred.
  • Experience with pediatric step-down units highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with charting systems, preferably Meditech, is a plus.
