Familiarity with pediatric electronic health records (EHRs), basic lab equipment, and immunization tracking systems is commonly required. Additionally, Pediatric Assistants must work closely with parents or guardians to accurately gather patient information and provide care instructions. Balancing compassionate care with efficiency in a busy pediatric environment is a common aspect of the role.

What are Pediatric Assistants?
