As a Mental Health Counselor at Vitality Peak Health Care Inc., you will:

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients facing a variety of mental health challenges.
• Provide evidence-based therapy sessions, primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities.
• Document session notes accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to assess their progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and families, to enhance client support.
• Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices and licensing requirements.

Our client base consists primarily of adults seeking therapeutic support for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field from an accredited university.
• An active and unencumbered license to practice in the state of Florida as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or a Psychologist (PsyD, PhD).
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against you by any licensing board.

We value candidates with:

• At least two years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy to adult populations.
• Enhanced skills in conducting intake assessments, diagnoses, and comprehensive treatment planning.
• Experience with documentation best practices and proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client information and sessions.
