Job description

NIST is seeking electricians to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems that support NIST facilities, laboratories, and critical operations. In this role, you will work with complex electrical systems, controls, and equipment; interpret electrical drawings and specifications; and ensure work meets National Electrical Code and safety requirements.Qualifications:There is no specific length or level of experience requirements. The applicant's overall background of experience, education and training must clearly demonstrate the ability to perform electrician work at the Journeyman level, such as installation, maintenance and repair, without more than normal supervision.
