Pharmacy Account Executive

Location: This field-based role enables associates to primarilyoperatein the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement.Alternate locations may be considered if candidatesresidewithin a commuting distance from an office.

The Pharmacy Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external clients and prospects, and reaching internal health plan penetration goals through the use of strong consultative skills.

How you will make an impact:

  • Supports the strategic sales and tactical plans by consulting with key decision makers and operational stakeholders in the region.
  • Provides ongoing support to regional decision makers and support pharmacy benefit management (PBM) field sales team during request for proposal (RFP) processes.
  • Assists in the development of recommendations for outcomes-based savings, revenue opportunities and meeting internal health plan penetration goals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Ability to travel up to 30% nationally.
  • PBM experience of 7-10 years strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a client facing role strongly preferred.
  • EST/CST locations strongly preferred.
