Job Summary:
The first year in this role is dedicated primarily to construction payroll administration and workforce data management. As the Construction Payroll Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring union and non-union craft employees are paid accurately through timely field time entry, payroll support, prevailing wage administration, and labor data management across active construction projects. Working closely with field teams, Payroll, Project Controls, and Project Management, you will validate workforce data, reconcile payroll information, support labor compliance requirements, and ensure labor costs are accurately captured to support project success. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage high-volume payroll and workforce data in a fast-paced construction environment.

Education:

โ€ข 2+ years of payroll, timekeeping, workforce administration, or related administrative experience
โ€ข Experience processing employee timekeeping and payroll

Responsibilities:
During your first year, your primary focus will be becoming the subject matter expert for construction payroll and workforce administration by:
โ€ข Entering and maintaining accurate field employee time records
โ€ข Processing high-volume payroll-related data
โ€ข Supporting weekly payroll activities for union and non-union craft employees
โ€ข Supporting Prevailing Wage/Davis-Bacon administration by reviewing labor classifications and pay requirements
โ€ข Reviewing weekly payroll edit listings and control reports for accuracy
โ€ข Reconciling payroll and workforce data
โ€ข Entering and maintaining equipment job cost information
โ€ข Maintaining project payroll documentation and supporting year-end audits
โ€ข Managing the Daily inbox and responding to payroll-related requests
After establishing a strong foundation in payroll and workforce administration, responsibilities will expand into broader Project Operations support, including:
