Summary: Responsible for the overall success and operations of Capriottis Restaurant location. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
General/ Compliance
  • Responsible for ensuring staff compliance with government regulations, company policies, and Capriottis procedures.
  • Completes University of CAPRIOTTIS® courses as directed.
  • May be required to cover the shifts of other managers and employees and respond to emergency calls when not scheduled to work.

Customer Service
  • Ensures that customers are greeted in a cheerful and helpful manner.
  • Informs and educates staff regarding survey results and secret shopper program.
  • Resolves any customer complaints or service issues not resolved by the supervisors.
  • Responds to negative surveys and corporate complaints.

Inventory
  • Submits orders for additional inventory/stocks. This includes beverages.
  • Ensures that physical counts of the inventory are recorded and reconciled on a weekly basis.
  • Conducts inventory audits to verify inventory levels. Also, inspects freezer and other food storage areas to ensure that food is being properly rotated.

Cash Handling
  • Responsible for following and ensuring compliance to the company's cash handling policies.
  • Prepares bank deposits, bank bags and changes orders.
  • Submits change order.
  • Picks up change order and drops of bank deposits.

Reporting and Business Records
  • Maintains business records as outlined in the CAPRIOTTIS® Operations Manual.
  • Ensures that the temperature (morning and evening), waste logs, and daily cleaning list, are properly completed.
  • Records and ensures that employee and complimentary meals in the POS system.
  • Reviews daily logs and investigates any discrepancies and makes corrections as needed. This includes reconciling waste logs with Weekly Inventory Sales Report.
  • Submits Weekly Inventory Sales Reports.
  • Prepares sales reconciliation report. Attaches deposit slips.
  • Prepares reports for Workforce Analysis and Sales.
  • Generate reports for the corporate office as needed.
  • Analyze reports to identify inventory issues, sales trend, staffing needs and other business trends.

Maintenance
  • Ensures that the cleaning task lists, and the maintenance procedures as outlined in the CAPRIOTTIS® Operations Manual are completed.
  • Inspects equipment on a regular basis and ensues that equipment maintenance schedules are followed

Payroll and Human Resources Management
  • Reviews and approves the staff's work schedules prepared by the assistant manager. Ensures that sales history data is being properly utilized and payroll budgets are being maintained. This includes approving time sheets, approving time-off requests, and maintaining attendance records in the absence of the assistant manager.
  • Approve and submits payroll time cards/PTO hours.
  • Monitors workflow and processes. Makes revisions as needed to efficiency and safety.
  • Conducts and/or delegates to subordinate managers the conducting of staff meeting, and safety trainings as required.
  • Ensures that pre-shift meetings are conducted for the purpose of informing the staff of the store's goals, product information, marketing promotions and other pertinent information as well as delegating tasks.
  • Consistently communicates with the managers and supervisors regarding the store's goals and operations.
  • Makes hiring decision.
  • Oversees the performance review and incentive programs.

Marketing
  • Implements local and national marketing initiatives.
  • Plans special events and promotions.
  • Maintains a safe and sanitary environment on the front line, prep area and food storage areas.

Compensation: $45,000.00 per year
