About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing endtoend payroll processing with a strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of multistate payroll, payroll tax reporting, and experience supporting immigrationrelated tax situations. Key Responsibilities

  • Process fullcycle, multistate payroll for hourly and salaried employees
  • Verify and reconcile timekeeping records, earnings, and deductions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and tax regulations
  • Prepare, file, and reconcile payroll taxes (federal, state, and local)
  • Manage tax considerations for employees with immigration status considerations (e.g., visa holders, crossborder/expatriate scenarios)
  • Process garnishments, benefits deductions, retro pay, and payroll adjustments
  • Support yearend payroll activities including W2 preparation, audits, and tax reporting
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to pay, deductions, and tax forms
  • Partner with HR and Finance on reporting, reconciliation, and process improvements
  • Assist with payroll system updates, enhancements, and implementations
  • Generate adhoc payroll and compliance reports as required

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of payroll experience, including tax compliance and immigrationrelated tax handling
  • Strong understanding of multistate payroll laws, payroll tax regulations, and wage compliance
  • Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, SuccessFactors) and advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Local candidates only

Preferred: CPP or FPC certification
