Job description

Troon’s Corporate office, located in Scottsdale, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity of Payroll Specialist! We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and advance their career within a rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to professional development and a desire to succeed in a dynamic corporate environment. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes the payroll and time and attendance systems to answer questions, process payroll, review/update information and resolve issues for employees and managers.
  • Ensures garnishments are submitted to UKG Pro timely and review all entered garnishments and calculations for accuracy.
  • Sets up and processes various earnings and deductions requests/spreadsheets accurately and timely.
  • Troubleshoots data related issues in both UKG Pro and Workforce Dimensions.
  • Generates manual checks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensures all payroll checks are distributed timely to the field.
  • Researches and resolves payroll related inquiries from employees and management.
  • Fully participates and ensures success of various projects as assigned.
  • Demonstrates strong focus on teamwork and initiatives as well as manages independent workload.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in high volume payroll.

Other Qualifications:

  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Must possess strong customer service skills.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required.
  • UKG experience is a plus.
