What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing engineering projects, ensuring alignment with productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.

  • Act as a liaison between project engineers, planning teams, and line management, facilitating communication and coordination.

  • Review the status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare comprehensive status reports.

  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions, applying skills and discipline knowledge to contribute effectively within the Work Team.

  • Develop plans for short-term work activities and lead process tech transfer in line with site and company guidance.

  • Conduct and assist in risk analysis with internal and external sites, and support the introduction of new materials.

  • Hire, develop, and maintain the technical skill set capability in the team, periodically reviewing work and mentoring colleagues.

  • Complete facility fit assessments for process transfers and facility design, and develop mass balances and process flow diagrams (PFDs) for new processes.

  • Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities of moderate complexity, providing production timings to support the operational schedule and reviewing Supplier Change Notifications (SCN) as required.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate's degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience

  • Intimate knowledge of OSHA and EHS requirements

  • Strong background in managing construction activities

  • Ability to read/understand construction design drawings including civil, mechanical, electrical, piping, & structural

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience in process development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and quality control

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Chemical Manufacturing operations

  • Deep understanding of process automation technology

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities

  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations and complex data analysis on spreadsheets, CAD systems, or other software programs.

Ability to travel to vendors and/or other Pfizer sites.

Ability to apply OSHA and site EHS requirements to in-the-field activities.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $82,700.00 to $137,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10.0% of the base salary.
