Rabine Paving America provides asphalt and concrete pavement services designed to meet your specific parking lot needs. Our team of experts make the set up and construction process easy with project management, regular reporting, quality materials and best practices. With commercial paving in all 50 states, we are the chosen partner for some of the country's largest retail brands.


Summary/Objective

The National Project Manager (Paving Construction) is a position that requires flexibility, organization, communication skills and more. This person will work closely with the operations team to ensure parking lot construction projects run smooth from the time of the preconstruction meeting through the punch walk. This position report to the Operations Manager.


Essential Functions

  • Project manage select projects from the office by collecting documentation, communicating with our onsite Project Managers, reviewing reports and photos submitted, etc.
  • Manage, approve, and process change order requests
  • Approve invoice amounts and manage the percent complete report on projects
  • Communicate to subcontractors regularly to manage construction projects from the office
  • Communicate to onsite Project Managers regularly to ensure required reporting is being completed and collected
  • Communicate to project vendors when needed
  • Communicate to customers and provide effective customer service
  • Learn and navigate customer portals to help with administrative tasks such as invoicing, purchase orders, change orders, etc.
  • Update the CRM to reflect accurate and reportable data
  • Assist in bidding events with the rest of the team when required
  • Assist in gathering close out documents, and creating close out packages when needed
  • Manage and grow existing partnerships (vendors, contractors, subcontractors)
  • Encourage process improvements to streamline projects and programs


Requirements:

Qualifications:·

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Construction Management) or 5+ years paving management experience
  • MS Office Skills including Excel is required
  • Experience navigating online portals is required
  • Construction experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of CRM databases, such as Salesforce highly preferred
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external partners
  • Ability to multi-task and rearrange priorities as needed
  • Effective project and time management skills
  • High sense of urgency to expedite issues

Work Environment

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

5 Days a week in the office, normally 8-5 with afterhours availability required.

Up to 10% travel.
