Job description

Precision Pavers

Paving Project Manager

Location: Celina, TX

Work Environment: Field-forward role supporting projects throughout North Dallas and the surrounding North Texas area

Compensation: $65,000 to $85,000 annually, based on experience

Build the kind of projects people show off.

Precision Pavers is an established outdoor living and hardscape design-build company serving North Texas since 1984. We specialize in high-quality residential paving, hardscape, and outdoor living projects, including patios, driveways, pool decks, walkways, retaining walls, and custom outdoor spaces.

As we continue to grow, we are investing heavily in technology, standardized processes, our new office and showroom, and the overall employee experience. We are looking for a hands-on, field-forward Paving Project Manager who can keep crews moving, clients informed, job sites organized, and quality locked in without needing constant direction.

This is not a desk-only Project Manager role. You will spend most of your time in the field visiting active residential paving and hardscape projects, supporting crews, documenting progress, identifying issues early, and keeping clients, vendors, office staff, and ownership aligned.

Our projects can evolve in the field, so we need someone who can follow plans, recognize site realities, communicate clearly when something needs to change, and help make sure each project is completed with quality, efficiency, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Field Management

  • Manage day-to-day execution across active residential paving, hardscape, and outdoor living job sites.
  • Support and coordinate multiple crews working across North Dallas and the surrounding North Texas area.
  • Visit job sites regularly to verify quality, safety, progress, and alignment with the project plan.
  • Ensure crews have the information, materials, layout direction, and clarity needed to stay productive.
  • Review work in progress for quality, craftsmanship, and consistency with company standards.
  • Help prevent missed details by tracking job-specific notes, client expectations, scope items, and change-related details.
  • Support scheduling accuracy by reporting real-time field status back to the office and ownership.

Client, Crew & Vendor Communication

  • Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding expectations, updates, schedule changes, and next steps.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with Spanish-speaking field crews.
  • Coordinate with ownership on priorities, timelines, scheduling changes, and project adjustments.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed regarding material readiness, deliveries, and site needs.
  • Represent Precision Pavers professionally when working in and around clients' homes.
  • Help maintain a positive client experience through clear communication, proactive follow-up, and professional field presence.

Documentation & Problem Solving

  • Take photos, document job site conditions, and maintain detailed job notes.
  • Upload photos, notes, and daily updates into JobTread or similar project management software.
  • Identify issues early, including materials, layout, site conditions, drainage concerns, access issues, scope changes, or client requests.
  • Propose practical solutions and communicate field realities to ownership before small problems become bigger ones.
  • Track project updates, job site changes, client requests, and open action items with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
  • 3 or more years of experience in construction project management, field supervision, or crew leadership.
  • Residential construction, paving, hardscape, landscaping, outdoor living, masonry, concrete, or similar field experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and follow plans, layouts, measurements, and project scopes.
  • Able to recognize right vs. wrong on a job site and speak up when something needs attention.
  • Strong understanding of field execution, job sequencing, crew coordination, and site organization.
  • Close attention to detail and strong organization with photos, notes, updates, and multiple active jobs.
  • Confident communicator who is calm, direct, professional, and customer-friendly.
  • Able to communicate effectively with homeowners, crews, vendors, office staff, and ownership.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to take initiative, identify problems, and bring solutions.
  • Comfortable managing changing priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Comfortable learning new software, including JobTread or similar project management systems.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record required.
  • Willingness to complete a background check upon a conditional job offer.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time, W-2 position.
  • Compensation: $65,000 to $85,000 annually, based on experience, with room to grow based on performance and impact.
  • Company truck provided; must have an insurable driving record.
  • Typical start time is 7:00 AM; end time varies based on workload and job site needs.
  • Field-forward role with daily travel between residential job sites.
  • Precision Pavers offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k).
  • Long-term career growth opportunities with an established and growing design-build company.

Why This Role Is Different

This is a high-impact seat in a company with decades of reputation behind it and a clear investment in continued growth, technology, process improvement, and employee experience. You will have autonomy, variety, and a direct line to ownership while helping deliver projects that clients are proud to show off.

This role is ideal for someone who understands field execution, can communicate confidently with both homeowners and crews, and wants to help a respected North Texas design-build company continue growing the right way.

If you are experienced in field project management, fluent in English and Spanish, comfortable leading crews, and ready to help a professional hardscape company deliver excellent work, we would like to hear from you.
