Site Project Manager-SuperintendentPosition Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Project Manager-Superintendent to join our team. This role requires a dedicated travelling project manager to oversee paving projects across the country. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project sites, coordinating with teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. These positions can be based anywhere-but a reasonable commute to a large airport is a must due to the amount of travel necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise paving projects on-site throughout the country
  • Travel weekly to project locations, with travel expected approximately 9 months out of the year.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance on-site.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and company leadership.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and schedules.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or delays impacting project timelines.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Site Project Manager or Superintendent, preferably in paving or heavy civil construction.
  • Willingness and ability to travel weekly, spending significant time on the road (approximately 9 months per year).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
