Our Patient Services Reps are the heartbeat of the patient experience. Step into a fast-paced, patient-focused role where every interaction makes a difference. As a Patient Service Representative (PSR), you will be a key member of the practice team, partnering with physicians, managers, and support staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) may be the perfect role for you if you enjoy helping others, thrive in a busy environment, and are passionate about creating positive experiences for patients and their families. As a Patient Service Representative (PSR), a typical day might include the following:

  • Welcoming patients and performing patient check-in and check-out functions with professionalism and compassion.
  • Preparing for patient visits by reviewing schedules and ensuring all necessary information is available.
  • Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating follow-up visits as needed.
  • Answering routine questions in person and over the telephone while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Performing clerical responsibilities including copying, scanning, faxing, sorting, and distributing mail.
  • Creating, maintaining, filing, and organizing patient health record information.
  • Coordinating with insurance providers and handling pre-authorizations and certifications as necessary.
  • Protecting patient privacy and contributing to a safe, efficient, and welcoming practice environment.

Preferred qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, previous medical receptionist or general office experience, and knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Please advise the schedule for this role is Monday-Thurdsay, 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, with hours subject to change based on practice’s needs.
