At Capitol Imaging Services (Center of Imaging Excellence), we are seeking a full time compassionate, organized, and detail-orientedPatient Coordinatorto join our imaging facility team. The schedule is Monday โ€“ Friday, 8:30am -5:00pm. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for our patients from the moment they schedule their appointment to the completion of their visit. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, a passion for patient care, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently.At Capitol Imaging Services, we believe in delivering not just high-quality diagnostic services, but also compassionate care. As a Patient Coordinator, youโ€™ll play a vital role in making each patient feel seen, heard, and supported.ย 

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Patient Scheduling:Coordinate and schedule imaging appointments, ensuring optimal use of facility resources and timely patient care.ย 

  • Insurance Verification:Confirm insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments; communicate coverage details to patients as needed.ย 

  • Appointment Management:Monitor the schedule daily to identify cancellations and proactively backfill open slots to maintain efficiency.ย 

  • Patient Communication:Serve as the first point of contact for patientsโ€”answering calls, responding to inquiries, and providing clear, empathetic guidance.ย 

  • Data Entry & Record Keeping:Accurately input patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR) system and maintain up-to-date records.ย 

  • Collaboration:Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow and coordination.ย 

  • Customer Service:Provide a warm, welcoming environment for patients and their families, addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.ย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • Experience:Minimum 1โ€“2 years in a healthcare or medical office setting, preferably in radiology or imaging services.ย
