Job description

The Patient Benefits Coordinator is responsible for growing and maintaining effective relationships while serving our patient population through providing resources to former atomic energy workers. This role is focused on helping grow the future pipeline for the company while supporting claimants as they walk through the process of applying for benefits. This role is a customer service-oriented role that helps to serve atomic hero's.
Salaried role $55-$67k plus benefits
  • Manages benefits applications for potential patients.
  • Remains detailed oriented in all work with close attention to deadlines.
  • Maintains communication with local teams including Community Outreach Managers and Branch Leaders
  • Develops relationships with local hospitals and clinics to request medical records.
  • Develop relationships and maintains communication with Authorized Representatives
  • Responsible for developing paperwork and processes as program requirements and criteria change.
  • Documentation and reporting on work completed as directed.
  • Participates in company designated committees per direction.
  • Abides by and promotes all Agency policies and procedures.
  • Supports and takes initiative on necessary state and federal program regulations by process development, implementation and evaluation of compliance and process for said regulations.
  • Treats prospective patient-families with absolute customer service with close communication, friendly service, and the utmost professionalism.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree - Licensed RN(preferred) or proven 5+ years of advanced practice leadership and strategic program management experience.
  • Medical Record Experience - NICE TO HAVE
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to meet quarterly goals.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, work independently, multi-task, prioritize and function in a team environment.
  • Must possess a professional, courteous, and customer-oriented demeanor. Must be discrete, trustworthy, and possess a high level of integrity.
