Job description

The Campus Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Campus Development Team through systems, communication, project coordination, and operational support, helping drive alignment, execution, and ministry effectiveness across campuses.
What you will do:
Systems, Communication & Reporting
  • Set up and maintain campus events on The Rock event calendar
  • Assist with church-wide events by collecting information from campuses
  • Distribute weekend service scripts to campuses

Operations, Project, & Team Support
  • Coordinate and create communication materials, graphics, presentations, and other ministry resources for the Campus Development Team and campuses.
  • Coordinate follow-up and implementation support for Engagement Pathway initiatives
  • Coordinate and support follow-through of key Campus Development initiatives
  • Support Campus Pastor hiring and onboarding processes
  • Support Campus Pastors with onboarding paperwork for new hires
  • Support coordination and execution of team projects as needed
  • Assist with Service Review support
  • Support logistics for CP Summit
  • Support logistics for Return Gathering
  • Recruit, develop, and manage volunteers as needed
  • Attend team meetings as well as Saddleback all-staff meetings and trainings

What you have done:
Experience
  • 1-2 years of administrative, project coordination, ministry, or related experience preferred
  • Experience coordinating projects, events, or ministry activities
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with volunteers or ministry teams is a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience creating graphics, presentations, and communication materials using Canva

Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with strong follow-through
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
