Job description

Essential job duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the success of the parts sales team and department objectives.
  • Set short and long-term sales strategies, establish sales objectives to meet the company financial goals and manage sales team to meet sales objectives performance, perform annual reviews and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Forecast and develop annual sales goals to meet the financial plan; Track and analyze sales statistics trends and results based on key quantitative metrics to maximize revenue opportunities and potential.
  • Provide monthly sales reports and gross profit results review with General Manager.
  • Work with Marketing, Sales and Warehouse & Materials Managers on parts sales promotions and billable freight quotes to ensure adequate inventory levels of common parts sold to customers. Provide forecasts as needed to support requested inventory min/max levels and analyze trends and report on results.
  • Provide leadership as required to integrate new acquisitions for parts sales.
  • Work with shipping & receiving department to ensure customer orders are processed in a timely manner and shipped properly.
  • Support Materials and Warehouse department as product mix changes. Maintain compliance with new customer and vendor setup policies and procedures.
  • Ensure billing and invoicing of parts sales are on-time and accurate.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Provide outstanding services and ensure customer satisfaction (both internal and external customers).
  • Responsible for accurate parts pricing and upkeep within Epicor system.

Education:

  • High school diploma
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Job experience (years and type of experience):

  • 3 years minimum heavy machine sales or parts sales required.
  • 3 years minimum experience in mining, construction or automotive industry required.
  • Proved proficiency in SOP development and implementation.

Skills required:

  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
  • Ability to produce a clear, detailed technical documents.
  • Ability to generate revenue forecasting documents and measure results against plan.
  • Experience with Epicor or similar ERP required.
  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer service and skilled at delivering clear and concise presentations
