The Job at a Glance
As the Manager, Operational Excellence & Network Transformation, you will own the design, execution, and delivery of operational excellence initiatives across our fulfillment network. Acting as a program owner, you will lead process standardization, WMS implementations, and new site launches while driving measurable improvements in cost, service, and productivity.
This role partners closely with Operations, IT, Engineering, and Supply Chain leaders to ensure scalable, standardized, and high-performing fulfillment operations. From concept to go-live to post-launch performance, you’ll help deliver results that stick!
 

A Typical Day

·          Serve as the end-to-end process owner for inbound, outbound, and returns workflows

·          Define, document, and maintain global SOPs and standard work

·          Establish audit mechanisms, compliance tracking, and change control processes

·          Lead process design for new site launches and network transformations

·          Drive adoption and adherence to standardized processes across all sites by developing scalable workflows, labor models, and operating playbooks

·          Support site startup, stabilization, and performance optimization

·          Act as process owner during WMS implementations, upgrades, and migrations

·          Translate operational requirements into system design inputs

·          Lead UAT, validation, and go-live readiness activities

·          Provide hands-on leadership during go-live and stabilization periods
 

To Land This Opportunity

  • You have 5+ years of experience in operational excellence, fulfillment operations, or supply chain transformation
  • You have extensive knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies
  • You have a strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (experience with High Jump is a bonus!)
  • You have lead WMS implementations, new site launches, or network-level process improvements
  • You have strong knowledge of warehouse operations and fulfillment workflows
  • You have a data-driven mindset with the ability to identify and drive performance improvements
  • You have excellent cross-functional leadership skills
  • You have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools is strongly preferred).
  • You’re an all-star communicator and are proficient in English (both written and verbal).
  • You have the ability to travel (40% annually, but as high as 50% during project implementation).
  • You have a quality, high speed internet connection at home.

The salary range for this role is $104,556 – $127,791 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
