Job description

Custom Truck Accessories in Reno is hiring a full-time Parts & Warehouse Associate to support our shop and sales team. This associate will be responsible for receiving and organizing parts inventory, keeping costs accurate in our DMS, pulling parts for technicians and salespeople, and handling returns and vendor credits. They also work with our accounting team on invoicing. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a busy shop environment.

The ideal candidate has genuine enthusiasm for trucks, builds, and the aftermarket scene. We want someone who gets excited when a customer walks in with a vision, who stays current on trends, and who can geek out over a build alongside a customer while also moving them through the sales process.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly: $20-24, depending on experience
  • Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Receive incoming parts shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
  • Audit received part costs against our DMS (Tekion) to ensure pricing accuracy
  • Maintain warehouse organization, including bin locations, labeling, and general cleanliness
  • Pull parts for technicians and salespeople promptly and accurately
  • Process vendor returns and manage credit tracking
  • Coordinate with our accounting team to submit and reconcile parts invoices
  • Conduct periodic parts inventory counts and assist with cycle counts
  • Handle general shop housekeeping and parts runs as needed
  • Flag discrepancies in shipments, pricing, or inventory to the appropriate manager

Physical demands include, but are not limited to:

  • Able to stand and move for extended periods
  • Comfortable lifting up to 30 pounds (e.g., parts, accessories)
  • May occasionally help inspect vehicles in the shop or lot
