The Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician provides technical support and repair services for computers and other electronic devices. This role is responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing repairs according to established procedures, and delivering excellent customer service by understanding customer needs and collaborating with team members. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computers, mobile devices, and other consumer electronics.
- Perform technical assessments and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with technical issues.
- Document customer requests, repair details, and service updates accurately.
- Follow up with customers to provide timely status updates and ensure satisfaction.
- Complete repairs efficiently while meeting quality and service expectations.
- Maintain technical knowledge through training, certifications, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with team members and leaders to resolve complex repair issues.
- At least 1 year of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, or repairing technology products.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience working with consumer electronics, computers, and related technology.
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
