Job description

Overview
Plans and participates in motor and movement recreational activities for students ages 5-21 with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the supervisor, develops and implements motor activities that teach and encourage group participation.
  • Provide activities that are appropriate for the functional and physical abilities of the students.
  • Participates and assists in special events as needed.
  • Performs additional related activities as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Prior experience working with students with disabilities.

Physical aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of an adult/student.
