Location: Springfield, MO (In-Studio)
Position Type: Part-Time (Early mornings, evenings, and weekend availability preferred)
Compensation: Competitive class rate + performance bonuses

Essence Lagree is bringing the ultimate high-intensity, low-impact workout to Springfield, and we are looking for magnetic personalities to lead our signature Lagree Fitness classes on the Microformer.

No prior Lagree experience? No problem. We do not hire based on a resume; we hire based on energy, presence, and drive. If you have the stage presence and the passion, we will sponsor and provide your official Lagree Fitness Certification training right here in Springfield.

Who You Are

  • The Ultimate Motivator: You can command a room of 10+ people, track the energy level of the class, and motivate clients through the toughest, slowest 50 minutes of their day.
  • A Rhythm & Beats Connoisseur: You love music and know how to curate an electric playlist that matches the high-intensity tempo of a workout.
  • Coachable & Eager to Learn: You welcome feedback, learn physical cueing quickly, and are excited to master the mechanics of the iconic Microformer.
  • Springfield Local Enthusiast: You love the growing 417 fitness community and want to help build a welcoming, inclusive space for clients of all fitness levels—from Missouri State students to local professionals.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver safe, and precisely cued 50-minute Lagree Fitness classes.
  • Provide clear, enthusiastic verbal cues and alignment corrections to ensure client safety and maximum muscle burn.
  • Design playlists and choreography that keep classes fresh, challenging, and fun.
  • Welcome clients, help new students set up their Microformers, and mingle after to foster community.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Essence Lagree, both inside the studio and out in the Springfield community.

Qualifications

  • Personality first: Outgoing, empathetic, reliable, and loud enough to be heard over a booming sound system.
  • Background in dance, cheer, athletics, kinesiology/exercise science, yoga, Pilates, or group fitness is a massive plus, but not required.
  • Must be able to attend our intensive, fully-sponsored multi-day Lagree Certification training hosted locally in Springfield (Dates: TBA.
  • Basic CPR/AED certification or obtain it before teaching.
  • Ability to commit to teaching at least 3–5 classes per week with a flexible schedule.
