Job Posting: Part-Time Preschool Yoga & Gym Instructor
Position Type: Part-Time
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
Target Age Group: 2.5 to 5 years old
We are seeking an energetic, patient, and creative Part-Time Yoga and Gym Instructor to lead our physical movement and mindfulness classes. In this role, you will guide children aged 2.5 to 5 years through playful exercises that build motor skills, body awareness, and self-regulation. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead classes: Deliver engaging 30- to 45-minute sessions combining structured gym games with imaginative yoga adventures.
  • Develop motor skills: Guide toddlers and preschoolers through fundamental movements like balancing, jumping, and catching.
  • Teach mindfulness: Introduce simple breathing exercises and animal poses to help young children learn to calm their bodies.
  • Ensure safety: Set up and clean dynamic movement spaces using age-appropriate soft mats and props.
  • Manage behavior: Use positive reinforcement to keep classes organized, focused, and fun. 
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience working with children aged 2 to 5 in a group setting (e.g., preschool, daycare, camp).
  • Certifications: Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification required; kids' yoga or fitness certification is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional patience, high energy, strong communication skills, and a playful teaching style.
  • Availability: Must be available for a consistent, part-time weekly schedule.  Mornings 9 am. - 12:30 p.m.
