John Hiester Chevrolet of Lillington is currently seeking full-time Parts Counterperson to join our winning team. We are a family owned and operated business and provide an excellent work environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Parts Counterperson is responsible for selling parts to customers, assisting technicians, placing special orders and contributing to the overall success of the parts department.
  • Assists customers and technicians in selecting and purchasing parts.
  • Places special orders for parts.
  • Perform daily bin checks.
  • Ability to scan/receive parts into inventory and put up accordingly.
  • Collect payments in form of cash/card/check or charge account.
  • Review special orders daily and keep status updates accurate.
  • Reads appropriate manuals to ascertain type and specification of part.
  • Provides pricing and product information to customers.
  • Assists in taking inventory.
  • Meets departmental production and profitability goals.
  • Answers telephone promptly and consistent with dealership guidelines.
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Understand basic sales numerics such as: Sales/Cost/Gross/GP Margin/Markup
  • Ability to operate computer efficiently and effectively to keep up with our fast-paced environment.
  • Participates in required training.
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Work directly with Parts Manager and Assistant Parts Manager to achieve department goals.
