Job description

Job title: Institutional Partnerships Coordinator

Status: Full-time

Division: Development

Overview:

The Institutional Partnerships Associate supports Islamic Relief USA’s institutional fundraising efforts by providing prospect research, donor stewardship, pipeline management, and administrative support to the Corporate Partnerships Assistant Director. This position helps strengthen relationships with corporate partners, foundations, family offices, and other institutional funders while supporting revenue growth and partnership development. The candidate must show commitment to IRUSA’s faith inspired values and principles as well as a commitment to the vision and mission of the organization.

Partnership and Fundraising Support

  • Support the team in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate, foundation, and institutional partners.
  • Conduct prospect research and prepare donor profiles, briefing materials, and meeting support documents.
  • Monitor funding opportunities and maintain prospect pipelines.
  • Build the relationships with employees at workplaces through engagement activities
  • Support the Growth of Matching Gift program through workplaces

Donor Stewardship and Engagement

  • Coordinate donor communications, acknowledgments, stewardship materials, and impact updates.
  • Support donor meetings, presentations, events, and partnership activities.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on partnership commitments and engagement opportunities.
  • Manage and strengthen the relationships with ERGs
  • Plan and coordinate the employee engagement at the workplaces in collaboration with Assistant Director and regional team

CRM and Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate prospect, donor, and partnership records in Salesforce.
  • Track fundraising activities, deadlines, reporting requirements, and next steps.
  • Generate pipeline and activity reports as needed.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Development, Programs, Marketing, and Finance teams to support fundraising initiatives.
  • Assist with proposal development by gathering information, tracking timelines, and supporting internal coordination.
  • Support scheduling, meeting preparation, and other administrative needs related to fundraising.

Qualifications and Copentencies:

  • 1–3 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit administration, business development, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, international affairs, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Commitment to IRUSA's mission, vision, and values.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
