Job description

LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a global consumer goods company seeking a Human Resources Business Partner. This role will partner closely with business leaders to drive people strategies that align with operational goals, enhance organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performing employee culture.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee HR support for a client group of 400+ employees, including exempt, non-exempt, hourly, and salaried populations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design, talent strategy, succession planning, and workforce effectiveness.
  • Partner with operations and functional leaders to align HR initiatives with business priorities and manufacturing objectives.
  • Analyze workforce trends, turnover, engagement, and talent metrics to recommend solutions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead talent review, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Identify skill gaps and partner with leaders to implement training and development programs.
  • Support internal mobility and career pathing strategies to retain and grow top talent.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and performance coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with deep expertise in California labor laws, wage and hour regulations, leave laws, and workplace policies.
  • Mitigate organizational risk through sound judgment and proactive employee relations practices.
  • Lead engagement strategies that strengthen employee experience, inclusion, retention, and morale.
  • Partner with leaders to build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and recognition.
  • Support change management and communication strategies during organizational changes.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and Learning teams to deliver integrated HR solutions.
  • Support workforce planning in a manufacturing environment including shift-based populations and labor needs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders.
  • Experience supporting a population of at least 400 employees in a multi-state capacity required.
  • Deep knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated success driving strategic HR initiatives across talent, engagement, development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong employee relations background with experience conducting investigations and resolving complex workplace issues.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Dayforce preferred.
