Summary
 
The HR Business Partner, Employee Relations is responsible for fostering a fair, inclusive, and high-trust workplace by managing employee relations matters with integrity, consistency, and professionalism. This role leads complex workplace investigations, ensures compliance with company policies and employment laws, and partners with cross-functional teams to resolve employee concerns. Additionally, the position drives employee engagement and HR initiatives by analyzing workforce data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies that enhance organizational culture, employee experience, and business performance.
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage employee relations investigations involving policy violations, legal concerns, ethics, and workplace conduct.
  • Conduct fair, impartial, and thorough investigations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Prepare comprehensive investigation reports, documentation, corrective action recommendations, and communication materials.
  • Partner with Legal, Ethics & Compliance, IT, Quality, EHS, HR, and external counsel to conduct objective investigations.
  • Perform root cause analyses and recommend corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring issues.
  • Maintain accurate investigation records and documentation in appropriate systems.
  • Analyze investigation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop and execute site-wide HR initiatives that support organizational effectiveness and business objectives.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR stakeholders to implement strategic HR programs.
  • Analyze employee engagement survey results and lead initiatives to improve employee experience and workplace culture.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of HR initiatives and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Present employee relations trends, workforce insights, and initiative updates to site leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Build trusted relationships with employees, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders while handling sensitive matters with discretion.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Prior employee relations investigation experience, preferably within a multinational organization.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, compliance, and employee relations practices.
  • Experience conducting sensitive workplace investigations and employee interviews.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and report-writing communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience analyzing HR metrics, KPIs, workforce data, and employee engagement surveys.
  • Ability to identify trends and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Power BI, and AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience leveraging digital technologies to improve HR processes and support strategic decision-making.
  • Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, empathy, and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, project management, and business partnering skills.
