Job description

The Program Manager at ArtiFlex Hercules Tooling oversees projects that drive innovation and excellence successfully in the tool and die industry and has a proven track record of managing complex projects. This position is located in Warren, Michigan.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage multiple tool and die programs from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, to meet project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and addressing any issues proactively.
  • Travel to suppliers overseas on a 4-week basis to:
    • Check job status.
    • Assist with tryout issues.
    • Conduct tool and die buyoffs.
  • Monitor progress, resolve technical or logistical challenges, and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with overseas team members to ensure seamless execution of international projects.
  • Track and report project performance using internal reporting systems and documentation.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Reading and understanding CAD drawings, and ability to learn software used.
  • Understanding international project management and supplier coordination is a plus.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in program management in manufacturing.
  • Experience in the tool and die or automotive industry is preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally on a 4-week basis, possibly 3-4 times annually.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Desire to be a part of a dynamic and innovative team working with industry-leading automotive companies.
