Job description

SailPoint is the leader in Identity Security. SailPoint customers represent half of the Fortune 500 and half of the ASX 50. This customer strength provides us with a great community of customers, partners and analysts who trust SailPoint and our team to solve complex challenges. SailPoint continues to grow globally and expanding our global presence creates opportunities for top salespeople to become a part of our awesome culture.
We are recognized by analysts such as Gartner, Forester and Kuppinger Cole as the leader in the market and we continue to push ourselves to define the market rather than follow what the analysts or competitors are marketing. Organizations struggle to understand who has access to what applications and data, and we help them answer these key questions. Identity security is the central control point for risk management for the enterprise.
We are proud of our team and the culture we have built which has led to our employees voting us "best places to work" - 15 years in a row.
This role will fall under the Revenue Operations Team. The Senior Partner Operations Analyst at SailPoint is a critical, highly collaborative role dedicated to optimizing and scaling SailPoint's global partner ecosystem and program compliance. Serving as the central operational bridge between partners, regional partner managers, and internal sales teams, this senior analyst is responsible for ensuring data hygiene across Salesforce opportunity tracking, overseeing deal registration and partner-sourced discounts, and coordinating enablement resources. The ideal candidate possesses deep analytical expertise to track partner program metrics, manage complex partner operations, and streamline the administrative workflows of program pathways. By proactively identifying operational bottlenecks and validating partner-led opportunities, the Senior Partner Operations Analyst directly drives partner success, protects deal registrations, and accelerates joint revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Ability to measure the impact of operations and strategic initiatives by gathering and synthesizing relevant data and presenting findings both in verbal and written formats
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while establishing priorities and producing deliverables end to end
  • Assist in development of analyses and presentations for the Senior Leadership Team, Regional Partner Managers, Partner Delivery Managers, and other cross functional teams.
  • Communicate informed conclusions and recommendations to senior leadership and sales operational managers that are tailored to the needs and requirements of the audience
  • Serve as a center of excellence for trusted insight and analysis to support both strategic initiatives and ad hoc business needs within the GTM organization
  • Design and create models to solve business problems and, where appropriate, integrate the insights into regular operational reporting
  • Assist in ad-hoc reporting and presentations, including business reviews and management presentations
  • Maintain and coordinate standard operating procedures, including updating files in a timely manner and coordinating the changes across systems such as http://Salesforce.com
  • Assist Global Alliances leadership with territory changes, sales budgets, and compensation planning

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Comfortable handling large data sets; previous work at a technology partner, GSI, or business consulting a plus
  • Strong attention to detail; you're the person that double checks your work every time
  • Positive attitude and flexibility when faced with fast-paced, complex challenges; a motivated self-starter with a high energy level
  • Excellent strategic and tactical business skills and a passion for using data to drive better decision making
  • Strong sense of responsibility and initiative; bias towards action versus being told what to do
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with diverse work groups
  • Proven skills at cultivating strong working relationships and working well within a team to learn and share knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to comprehensively and clearly present strategic issues and solutions to sales leaders and teammates

System Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of MS365 Suites and Excel (when to use Index Match, pivot tables, Conditional formatting, etc)
  • Very strong working knowledge of Salesforce desired
  • BI visualization tools like Tableau or SQL experience directly querying datastores
  • Partner Portals like Impartner, PartnerStack, Salesforce Partner Cloud
  • Experience leveraging LLM's like Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude

The path to success:
1-month milestones:
  • Familiarize yourself with SailPoint's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
  • Begin building relationships within Growth Operations, Revenue Operations, Partner Managers, and Partner Leadership.
  • Get up to speed on the tools and internal playbooks required to drive operational excellence across the RevOps team.
  • System & Process Mapping: Develop a deep understanding of partner data workflows to understand how the business functions today with an eye towards potential improvements.
  • Queue Immersion: Begin taking on reactive reporting and support requests to understand the data architecture and the most common pain points firsthand.

2-month milestones:
  • Process Documentation: Document Partner Operations "tribal knowledge" into written processes to ensure team-wide alignment and easier onboarding in the future.
  • Data Hygiene: Complete an assessment of partner opportunity data in Salesforce, understanding how it's measured today and key reporting used to run the daily business.
  • Agreement Tracking System: Leverage our new partner portal to monitor partner agreement statuses, making it easy for Partner Managers to see who needs chasing.

3-month milestones:
  • Proactive Reporting: Consider ways to shift from answering reactive data requests to publishing proactive, self-serve dashboards (e.g., deal reg velocity, agreement compliance) that head off ad-hoc requests.
  • Balancing the Workload: Successfully manage the 50/50 split-handling the daily reporting request queue while dedicating focused time to the proactive data cleanup and process design tasks.
  • Tackling Bottlenecks: Implement at least one process tweak or automation that measurably reduces the time it takes to process a deal registration or Cosell opportunity.

6-month milestones:
  • Queue Mastery: Be fully self-sufficient in managing the daily request queue and standard operational troubleshooting with minimal oversight.
  • Autonomous Project Ownership: Independently identify, scope, and drive at least one new operational improvement project from end to end.
  • Program Collaboration: Act as the primary operational counterpart to the Partner Programs team, proactively designing the backend mechanics and workflows for any newly proposed partner initiatives before they launch.

Travel:
  • Travel as per business requirements.
