Job description

We are a family owned and operated business searching for an Business Development Manager to join our team! We have been in business for over 30 year's, and we offer a full benefits package.

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and managing relationships with media agencies, OOH operators, and direct clients while overseeing the full sales cycle from prospecting through close. This role translates client campaign objectives into clear installation scopes, coordinating closely with operations to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to specification. The Business Development Manager serves as the primary point of contact throughout each campaign, providing updates on production and installation, while proactively identifying opportunities to upsell, renew, and expand accounts within the outdoor advertising space. Success in this role is measured by achieving and exceeding monthly and annual revenue targets, maintaining high client retention rates, and consistently expanding the company’s presence within the OOH market.

Salary Range: Annual base salary of $100,000–$110,000, plus commission.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities for OOH advertising installation services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with advertising companies, media agencies, printers, and other industry partners.
  • Respond to incoming opportunities and develop professional proposal and estimates.
  • Expand services with existing customers.
  • Accurately determine labor, materials, equipment, and other project costs.
  • Coordinate site surveys and properly scope projects.
  • Follow up on proposals, maintain active sales pipeline, and close new business.
  • Work closely with operations to confirm labor requirements, schedules, equipment needs, and installation methods.
  • Maintain and report accurate records of opportunities, quotes, customer communications, and project status.

Educational/Training Requirements

  • 2+ years professional sales experience, preferably in advertising, signage, graphics installation, or field-based services.
  • Project coordination or project management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience developing quotes or estimates involving labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of project costing and gross margin.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working directly with customers, operations, and field teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (particularly Hubspot).
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Valid CA Driver's License.

Work Environment

This position is designed to be customer facing, field active, and mobile, rather than exclusively office based. This sales person will have the flexibility to work independently while also attending in-person meetings and collaborations with the operations team. This role will require periodic travel to support business development and networking activities.
