About the Role

Ophelia Health is seeking a full-time Partnerships Manager to initiate and develop strong, lasting relationships with community partners to support patients with opioid use disorder (OUD). In this role, you will be the face of Ophelia in local communities, acting as the vital link between our organization and the community programs we partner with. Your mission is to build a high-volume referral engine that ensures individuals with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) can seamlessly access Ophelia's life-saving telehealth treatment.By establishing trust and building bidirectional partnerships, you will help create a network of support that enhances our patients' treatment journey.

What you'll do:
  • New Partnership Acquisition: Own the full partnership lifecycle: proactively identify, prospect, and pitch Ophelia to new referral sources. You will manage a high-volume pipeline, moving organizations from 'cold outreach' to 'active partners' with persistence. 
  • Strategic Relationship Management: : Nurture and scale existing partnerships. You aren't just a face in the room; you ensure partners remain clinically and philosophically aligned with Ophelia's mission, turning local organizations into long-term, sustainable advocates for our patients
  • Data & CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools (like Salesforce or HubSpot) to track activity, conversion rates from referral to patient, and ROI on partnership outreach.You will be expected to uncover insights into your own performance, including analyzing which partner types yield the highest patient conversion and adjusting your weekly strategy accordingly.
  • Community Engagement: Spend the majority of your time in the field, meeting with healthcare providers, community leaders, patient advocates, and others to identify needs, remove barriers to treatment, and solidify Ophelia's presence.
  • Feedback Integration: Collect and analyze feedback from community partners to refine Ophelia's referral strategies and products. Help develop and build solutions for existing referral barriers.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Ophelia's marketing, commercial, clinical, product, and operations teams to achieve outreach and market penetration goals.
What we're looking for:
  • Live in New York City 
  • Able to travel locally within the NYC region (using public transportation) with most working days out in the field
  • 2-5 Years of Experience: Proven track record in Business Development, Partnership Development/Management, Medical Sales, or Account Management. 
  • Grit & Autonomy: You are a self-starter who thrives when given a territory and a goal. You don't wait for a task list; you create a plan and execute it.
  • Skilled in independently crafting and executing outreach strategies, with a demonstrated ability to monitor performance metrics, adapt approaches as needed, and ensure objectives are achieved
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a patient-first/client-first mindset
  • Passionate about serving marginalized and vulnerable populations
  • Proven ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with sensitive and confidential information
  • Preferred
    • Experience within the SUD treatment community, with existing relationships in this space
    • Experience working with clinical staff, healthcare administration staff, and people with opioid use disorders
