Job description

(Senior) Partner Development Manager, Horizontal Platforms, Technology & LLMs

New York, Charlotte or Palo Alto hybrid

Seize a unique career opportunity. Build and run the hyperscaler, platform, and LLM partnerships that put Intapp at the center of the agentic AI stack for professional firms - designing joint plans with cloud platforms, model providers, and horizontal technology partners that drive measurable impact for clients, partners, and Intapp.

Intapp company overview

Intapp, Inc. (NASDAQ: INTA) is the governed AI platform for professional firms in highly regulated industries, with more than 2,850 clients and over $600M in annual revenues. Our vertically tailored agentic solutions are built for the specialized workflows, complex relationship networks, and professional compliance requirements of accounting, consulting, investment banking, legal, private capital, and real assets firms.

In February 2026 we launched Intapp Celeste, our purpose-built agentic AI platform, alongside expanded collaborations with partners such as Anthropic and Microsoft. By applying Firm AI to firms' core processes and data, Intapp helps partners, dealmakers, and advisors drive growth, manage compliance, and improve profitability.

The Intapp partner ecosystem manifests and completes our vertical AI platform. More than 20 years of focus on professional and financial services has cultivated a growing and unparalleled portfolio of more than 140 data, technology, and services partnerships.

Why this role, why now

The agentic AI era is reshaping how enterprise software is built, distributed, and trusted. For governed, judgement-heavy industries, the winning vertical AI platform is the one that composes most fluently with the horizontal layer beneath it - frontier models, cloud platforms, identity and security fabrics, and the emerging agent interoperability standards. Intapp Celeste is built to be that platform, and our relationships with horizontal partners are central to making it real.

This is a new role built to develop and manage a dedicated partner motion for hyperscalers, LLM providers, and horizontal technology platforms - partners such as Microsoft, Anthropic, and the foundational providers that define how agentic software is engineered, governed, and shipped. These partners extend Intapp's reach into firms' existing IT estates, anchor our governance and safety story, and unlock distribution at the scale of their marketplaces and field organizations.

It is a rare opportunity to build at the speed of applied AI - inside a company where the partner ecosystem is a genuine source of competitive advantage - in a market where platform roadmaps, model capabilities, and interoperability standards evolve in weeks, not quarters.

What you will do:

As (Senior) Partner Development Manager, Horizontal Platforms, Technology & LLMs, you will own and grow a portfolio of Intapp's most strategically important platform, hyperscaler, and LLM partners. You will curate new partners, design and execute partnership plans that deliver growth through co-engineering, co-marketing, co-selling, and marketplace distribution - and help shape Intapp's position in the broader agentic AI stack. The primary initial focus for this role will be running our most strategic partnership with Microsoft, where we have a nine figure commercial agreement and our Cosell motion runs into the tens of millions $ every year.

Success requires intellectual curiosity and fluency in our end-markets, our clients' needs, and the combined potential of Intapp and its horizontal partners - then translating that understanding into joint value that reaches clients. The role spans strategy and execution equally, with near-term accountability for pipeline and revenue alongside longer-term ownership of platform positioning.

You will report to the Head of Horizontal AI and Platform Partnerships, and work cross-functionally with Product and R&D, Industries, Sales, Marketing, and Services as well as Client Success & Support. The role is highly visible, high-impact, and best suited to an intrapreneurial builder who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution in a high-velocity environment.

Build and execute partner plans (Microsoft focused) aligned to Intapp's growth priorities and the partner program - designing joint value propositions, multi-year collaboration roadmaps, co-engineering agendas, joint go-to-market, and co-selling. Ensure partner plans are embedded in the annual and strategic plans of our business units, R&D teams, and GTM functions.

Grow our Microsoft Cosell business globally and also build out our Coinnovation success with them.

Translate market and client needs into joint solutions, working with Product, R&D, and Industries teams to identify where deeper integration with horizontal platforms and LLMs makes Intapp solutions, including Celeste, measurably more capable, more governable, and easier to deploy inside our clients' existing IT estates.

Drive interoperability and platform motions - embed Intapp into the partner's developer surface, model access layer, identity and security fabric, and emerging agent interoperability standards including MCP and agent-to-agent protocols.

Own and grow executive relationships with assigned partners, becoming a trusted advisor and the strategic liaison between them and key stakeholders across Intapp.

Drive systematic execution of the partner program across development, co-marketing, co-selling, co-delivery, and co-engineering - and report on progress and results, including partner-sourced, -influenced, and marketplace-transacted revenue, certifications, and joint engineering outcomes.

Engage directly in client opportunities and sales cycles where partner involvement strengthens our competitive positioning, completes the solution, or opens access to key stakeholders - including marketplace transactions and platform-led co-sell motions.

Operate the coopetition and governance framework - qualify platform and technology partnerships against criteria and with senior executives across Intapp and facilitate decisions.

Advance partner mindshare and capabilities, growing enablement, certifications, and investment in Intapp-related solutions across partner field, technical, and marketplace organizations.

Lead internal alignment, coordinating partnership activities with Product, Marketing, Enablement, Industries, and field Sales - and keeping Partner Operations systems, including OP4i, accurate and current.

Act as a catalyst for innovation, identifying white-space opportunities where joint engineering, model integration, or platform-native distribution expand Intapp's value proposition and defensibility.

Serve as a thought partner to the wider Alliances & Partners team, contributing to ecosystem strategy, executive partner briefings, and the continuous evolution of Intapp's partner program.

What you will need:

We are looking for a universalist rather than a specialist - a fast learner who can move fluidly between strategy and execution, and between deeply technical and senior commercial conversations. Specific qualities matter more here than a specific resume.

An intrapreneurial builder who is energized by ambiguity and white space, takes ownership end to end, and is comfortable creating structure where none yet exists.

A management consulting-grade thinker with strong structured, hypothesis-driven problem-solving - able to frame a market, build a plan, and make a clear, evidence-based case to executives. A management consulting background is preferred.

Genuinely curious about applied and agentic AI, frontier models, and platform engineering, able to get up to speed on a new partner, technical stack, or product capability at speed.

An exceptional communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, who adapts naturally across audiences - from technical and operational stakeholders to senior executives, internally and externally.

A cross-functional operator who influences and wins authority through trust in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, and builds sustainable collaboration across Product, R&D, Sales, Marketing, CSS and Services stakeholders.

Adaptable and composed under pressure, able to thrive at the speed of technology and applied AI as well as our clients' expectations and to reprioritize as the market moves.

Commercially astute, with sound judgement on value creation, partner economics, and how partnership activity translates into revenue and client outcomes.

Preferred and nice to have

None of the following is required, but each is a plus. We would rather hire for trajectory, judgement, and learning speed than for an exact match.

Technology or software exposure - experience in or around SaaS, cloud, enterprise technology, hyperscalers, or AI-native companies. Experience with Microsoft is highly preferential, but not essential.

Partnership or ecosystem exposure, including any experience with hyperscalers, cloud marketplaces, model providers, or platform vendors - helpful but not required.

Familiarity with one or more of our end-markets - accounting, consulting, investment banking and advisory, legal, private capital, or real assets - or experience selling to or serving professional firms.

Exposure to revenue outcomes, such as quota-carrying or direct influence on attainment, or experience shaping commercial or strategic partnership agreements.

Applied AI fluency, including familiarity with agentic architectures, frontier model selection and evaluation, MCP and agent-to-agent interoperability, model and data governance, or cloud marketplace co-sell mechanics.
