Job description

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners.

Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
This AutoMFG Partner Development Specialist (PDS) position is part of the AWS AMER Industry and Solutions team within the AMER Partner Sales and Development organization. The AMER AutoMFG PDS owns the end-to-end go-to-market execution preferably with partners for their respective Migration and Modernization, Line of Business (LoB), Data Foundation and AI domains in AutoMFG, providing industry knowledge of use cases and business and technical expertise to help our customers and sellers solve and scale their most critical challenges to create and qualify opportunities.
AWS is seeking an experienced Partner Development Specialist (PDS) with deep expertise in Data and Automotive use cases including LoB Software Defined Vehicle and Supply Chain to join our AMER AutoMFG Industry and Solutions team. This role is critical to driving and growing the Data, AI and Automotive workloads with partners and driving outcomes for our AutoMFG customers

These workloads and the applicable partner solutions particularly Software Defined Vehicle, Supply Chain and Data/AI are key drivers of transformational business growth for our OEM, Tier II/IIII and online Automotive customers and essential for customer success.
Whether motivated by finding revenue growth or cost savings, and/or technology lifecycle events through LoB, Data intelligence and AI inference on the cloud, customers expect more business value than just operational efficiencies. In addition, they aim to increase business agility, transform customer experience, and drive new innovations leveraging AWS's cloud capabilities.

The Industry PDS will own the GTM and partner execution to deliver value by CXO engagement and activate key partners to drive outcomes in these specific workloads, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers and partners succeed and deliver pipeline growth to our business.
Key job responsibilities
1/ Spearhead Sprint campaigns and business development focused on AutoMFG customers to create Qualified PO and AO in Automotive LoB particularly Software Defined Vehicle and Supply Chain, Data and AI opportunities. Core responsibilities include prospecting pipeline and executing steps to qualify opportunities.
2/ Execute with expertise and work closely with partners, account teams, solutions architects, and stakeholders to preferably attach and co-sell partner solutions into propensity accounts and customer journeys


3/ Engage with customer executives (CXO) on transformation roadmaps, architecting robust solutions, mitigating risks, optimizing costs, and building compelling value and business cases.
4/ Leverage AWS Agentic tools to identify opportunity areas and assist partners in commercial constructs addressing unique customer needs.
5/ Position AWS's differentiated approach at events, executive briefings, and with industry analysts.


6/ Develop repeatable solutions for common workloads while tailoring proposals to specific customer requirements.
7/ Escalate concerns promptly to leadership to maximize customer value delivery.
8/ Analyze market trends and provide feedback to continuously enhance AWS's penetration of key customers.
