Job description

AAMCI is seeking a dynamic person to join our team as a PART TIME Leasing Agent at a 101-unit Section 8/Tax Credit elderly/disabled community in Knoxville, TN.
Part time: Monday thru Friday 25 hours a week 9 to 2. $19 per hour
The community is an affordable housing community with rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive.
AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Marketing of qualified households to increase occupancy
  • Answer telephone inquires - busy multi phone lines
  • Lease vacant units
  • Interview potential applicants
  • Assist with third-party verifications
  • Follow-up with applicants
  • Submit files as needed for compliance
  • Intake of work orders
  • Data entry and correspondence
