Job description

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Reimbursement Supervisor or HUB Services Program Supervisor/Program Manager, the Data Entry associate is responsible for various call center functions, including but not limited to timely taking of inbound calls, timely making of necessary out bound calls, complete, timely and accurate record entries, and provision of appropriate and courteous customer service. The below is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job and is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of essential functions, responsibilities, or requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1.Responsible for accurate and timely routing of all inbound faxes such as but not limited to items for new referrals, reimbursement documents, and patient assistance program requests.
2.Responsible for accurate and timely processing of all documents received via mail, FEDEX, and similar service.
3.Responsible for accurate collection and timely entry of all required patient demographic information.
4.Evaluate program enrollment forms for legibility, signature, and presence of required information.
5.Collects and accurately enters eligibility, benefit and coverage information for each patient's prescription.
6.Follow program guidelines and properly and timely escalate complex cases according to program policy and procedures.
7.Ensures confidentiality of all patient accounts by following Anovo HIPAA policies and procedures and properly reporting any suspected or known incidents.
8.Completes all required training in a timely manner and scores a passing score on any training that requires a test score.
9.Adheres to Anovo Code of Conduct and all applicable Anovo policies and procedures, including without limitation, attendance, being on time, and not working overtime without permission.
10.Timely notifies Anovo Reimbursement management of problems and customer complaints.
11.Performs related duties, as requested by the Reimbursement Supervisor or Director, that are not specifically set-forth in this job description.
12.Regular and reliable attendance expected.
13.Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Minimum Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills Required
1.Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
2.Preferred: At least one years' experience in customer service for a healthcare company, preferably a pharmacy and some experience with federal and state healthcare reimbursement or intake for a HUB or specialty pharmacy.
3.Highly Preferred: Prior experience and/or working knowledge of healthcare policy and reimbursement for all payer types including Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid.
4.Strong customer service experience and skills. Must be people-friendly.
5.Effective written and oral communication skills. Able to articulate thoughts well and communicate them clearly, both orally and in writing.
6.Able to effectively and professionally communicate with patients and prescribers via email, over the phone, and in person.
7.Able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
8.Must have excellent computer skills, proficient at Microsoft Office Suite, preferably Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
9.Must have history evidencing reliability and consistency in timeliness, attendance, and quality of work.
10.Must be organized, and detail oriented.
11.Able and willing to work in fast paced environment and have the ability to multi-task.
12.Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background testing.
