Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will join the Private Wealth Management Experienced Hire Recruiting Team focused on the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for US-based private wealth advisors (PWAs). This is a high-visibility role requiring a sophisticated understanding of the wealth management landscape, exceptional relationship management skills, and the ability to operate with a high level of integrity in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Partner closely with key stakeholders including Regional Heads and PWM Leadership to understand local market needs, define the profile of a successful PWA and contribute to the development of recruitment strategies and solutions.
  • Execute end-to-end recruitment processes in managing activities from initial role opening and "cold" outreach to complex offer negotiation and candidate onboarding.
  • Develop and execute a multi-channel sourcing strategy to identify top-performing advisors at competitor firms (wirehouses, boutiques, and independent RIAs) and build relationships with prospective candidates for current and future roles within private wealth.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, including payout structures, platform capabilities, and advisor movement trends across the US.
  • Actively participate in stakeholder working groups and strategy sessions to help drive and optimize recruitment strategies.
  • Enhance the candidate experience through timely, transparent, and positive interactions at every stage of the recruitment process.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience within a recruitment agency focused on private wealth management roles, or a relevant internal talent acquisition function, or direct experience within private wealth management.
  • Partnering with clients and colleagues: solid communication and relationship management skills; client-facing and credible; strong negotiation skills; ability to develop internal and external relationships; ability to manage diverse stakeholders and to build networks quickly.
  • Strong team player: ability to work effectively within and across teams is a must.
  • Results-oriented: ability to thrive in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment, handling multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients.
  • Strong project management skills: ability to handle multiple priorities and project plan on a regular basis.
  • Analytical skills: strong attention to detail, forward-thinking, ability to review data analytics and identify emerging trends in global markets.
  • Commercial awareness: broad knowledge of the financial services industry.

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100,000-$250,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
