The Opportunity

Exemplar is seeking a visionary Head of AI-Driven Wealth Management to lead, scale, and transform our national wealth management practice.

This entrepreneurial leadership role is ideal for a growth-minded executive who can combine traditional wealth management expertise with a passion for innovation and technology. You will be responsible for driving business development, building a high-performing advisory team, and helping shape the future of wealth management through AI-enabled tools and processes.

As the leader of this service line, you will operate with an ownership mentality, overseeing strategy, growth, client experience, and operational excellence while leveraging technology to create scalable and efficient solutions.


Key Responsibilities


Leadership & Growth

  • Lead and scale Exemplar's wealth management division nationwide.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to expand assets under management and revenue.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of advisors and support professionals.
  • Establish performance metrics and operational best practices.


AI & Innovation

  • Champion the adoption of AI-powered tools and technology throughout the wealth management practice.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client experience, advisor productivity, and operational efficiency through automation and data-driven insights.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to implement technology solutions that enhance planning, reporting, client engagement, and business intelligence.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.


Client Advisory & Wealth Strategy

  • Provide strategic guidance for high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and executives.
  • Oversee portfolio construction, investment strategy, risk management, and financial planning initiatives.
  • Ensure exceptional client service and long-term relationship development.
  • Collaborate with tax, legal, insurance, and capital markets teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.


Business Development

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and referral partners.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and centers of influence.
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen Exemplar's market presence and brand awareness.
  • Drive cross-selling opportunities across Exemplar's service lines.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of wealth management leadership experience.
  • Experience managing significant client assets and leading advisory teams.
  • FINRA registration (Series 65 or Series 66).
  • Strong knowledge of investment management, financial planning, tax-efficient strategies, and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated business development success.

Preferred

  • CFP, CFA, or similar professional designation.
  • Experience implementing technology, automation, or AI solutions within financial services.
  • Experience building and scaling a wealth management business.
  • Familiarity with CRM, planning, portfolio management, and AI-enabled advisory platforms.
