Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting the Lab Management & Visual Merchandising teams in creative, documentation and operational aspects of the Visual Lab Store, including the building and maintenance of all floorsets, inventory control, and upholding visual standards.
POSITION TITLE: Visual Lab Associate
REPORTS TO: General Manager - Visual Labs
STATUS: Part Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uphold all corporate visual, marketing and operational standards
  • Prepare lab store for all scheduled events and walk throughs
  • Work directly with lab management to execute all assigned visual direction
  • Build creative displays, wall presentations, and dress bustforms
  • Fold, hang, and style merchandise
  • Complete tasks at a fast pace while maintaining a high level of detail
  • Organize and place marketing elements as directed
  • Assist visual team with documentation needs including write ups and photography
  • Assist management team create seasonal floorset processing guides
  • Unpack, process, and organize shipment
  • Maintain stockroom organization
  • Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the lab stores
  • Observe for loss prevention and advise management of any unusual activity
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong prioritization, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Work and communicate well with a diverse group of individuals at multiple levels
  • Self motivated with critical attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
  • Minimum High School Diploma. Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Fashion-related field preferred
  • 2+ years of retail experience
  • Proficient in PC/MAC/ Adobe Creative Suite Software

  • Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
